Rice Vinegar Mi Cu 1 liter Activates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, regulates Qi, stops bleeding and resolves toxins.
Rx. Sophorae Flavescentis Ku Shen 20g Clears Heat and dries Dampness, disperses Wind, kills parasites and stops itching.
Fr. Zanthoxyli Chuan Jiao 15g Disperses Cold and dispels Dampness.

CLINICAL MANIFESTATIONS

  • Paroxysms of pruritis
  • Lichenoid changes of the skin
  • Severe pruritis, which is worse during the night
  • Single or multiple irregular or polygonal-shaped plaques
  • Intermingled slightly elevated red papules
  • The skin in the affected area is rough with deepened skin creases

NOTES

  • In a cast iron sauce pan, boil the vinegar down to 100 ml to make a thick liquid or paste. Transfer the paste to a wide-mouth glass jar. Wash the other ingredients and add to the vinegar. Steep for at least one week (the longer, the better).Before treating, wash the affected skin sites with warm water. Apply the paste with a sterile cotton swab, in the morning and evening. Improvement is expected in 4-5 days and healing within two weeks.
